Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts for backend services, frontend applications, and mobile platforms.
- Create testing plans covering functionality, system performance, security validations, edge cases, and broad test coverage.
- Lead simulation, stress, load, and performance testing to assess system stability and behavior under varying traffic conditions.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support improvements to deployment processes.
- Analyze test metrics, results, and coverage data to identify gaps and improve testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to embed automation strategies.
- Mentor and train engineers in automated testing frameworks, automation practices, and industry standards.
- Design test cases based on user needs and real-world customer scenarios.
- Debug and troubleshoot automated testing systems and identify failure causes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience creating, scaling, and maintaining automation test suites for backend and frontend systems.
- Proficiency writing test scripts with Python, Golang, or Java.
- Expertise with test automation frameworks including Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, or Go Test, or comparable tools.
- Experience with backend, frontend, and mobile testing paradigms.
- Knowledge of stress, simulation, performance, and load testing methodologies.
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines and deployment environments.
- Experience training engineers in automated testing frameworks and best practices.
- Experience with test reporting and data analysis to drive quality improvements.
- Demonstrated leadership and experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and test-driven development.
- Exposure to AI-powered testing tools and newer automation technologies.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing integration, quality assurance methodologies, and system reliability and scalability.
