Responsibilities
- Lead technology selection, system requirements definition, domain modeling, and backend architecture decisions.
- Develop and operate backend web applications with sustainable operational viability.
- Formulate technology strategies aligned with business goals and provide technical leadership to development teams.
- Design and implement features and integrations using clean, efficient code, unit tests, documentation, and software development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development processes.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience developing backend systems for web applications.
- Experience with technology verification, requirements analysis, architecture design, and infrastructure construction for development teams or multiple projects.
- Experience resolving technology, product, or development-process issues.
- Experience developing and operating web applications with statically typed languages and frameworks.
- Proficiency developing in a Docker-native infrastructure environment.
- Fluent business English communication skills at CEFR B1 or higher, including written communication and meetings.
- Must reside in Vietnam or plan to relocate, with foreign nationals required to hold or be legally eligible for a valid Vietnam work permit.
- Preferred experience includes large systems across multiple teams, domain-driven design, microservices, security-conscious web applications, and Rust or Scala.
- Knowledge of React and Next.js and business-level Japanese proficiency are preferred.
