Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and develop integration service solutions and enterprise web applications.
- Deliver development tasks using coding best practices and consideration of non-functional requirements.
- Participate in major technical upgrades and large technical initiatives.
- Develop solutions involving file transport, messaging, APIs, transmission protocols, and industry-standard or proprietary formats.
- Perform system integration using bespoke, vendor, and open-source integration software.
- Manage tasks across and outside the agile team and complete work within agreed deadlines and quality standards.
- Understand user needs, recommend optimized solutions, anticipate risks, and lead issue resolution across the organization.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills while working independently and collaboratively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 6 years of experience developing enterprise web applications.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot or Python, Angular and/or React.js, and Node.js.
- Experience with one or more of REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC, Avro, and WebSocket protocols.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Pytest.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or OpenShift.
- Experience with build frameworks or package/build tools including Maven, Gradle, Poetry, PDM, or Pipenv.
- Experience working in agile teams and understanding of the agile model.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps/CI/CD, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, SFTP, FTP, Samba, MFT, Copilot, Devin, or other AI coding assistants.
- Demonstrated results focus, business acumen, curiosity, technology influence, and teamwork.
