Base Salary
$85k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and test software applications and systems in support of program requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable code using languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar.
- Participate in software requirements analysis, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams.
- Document software designs, test procedures, and technical specifications according to program standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of related experience, or a graduate degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
- Eight years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
- Must be eligible and able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Active U.S. Secret clearance is preferred.
- Experience with C++, Python, Java, or another programming language is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git or Subversion, software modeling, secure coding, automated testing frameworks, or test-driven development is preferred.
- Defense or government contracting experience is preferred.
