Responsibilities
- Develop high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications with a primary focus on server-side development.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and release.
- Design and implement Java services, RESTful APIs, and gRPC services.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code according to specifications.
- Technically lead software engineers and collaborate with stakeholders across a diverse user base.
- Investigate new technologies and present recommendations for architectural review.
- Support software releases and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience, ideally in financial services or FinTech.
- Experience with Java and Spring.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, and/or AWS.
- Exposure to Apache Kafka or other distributed messaging and streaming platforms.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of TDD, BDD, testing frameworks, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working as part of a global Agile team.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- A university qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline, or a strong GitHub portfolio showcasing recent projects.
