Base Salary
$185k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead root-cause analysis and end-to-end resolution of critical customer network escalations and complex live deployment roadblocks.
- Qualify customer use cases in production-grade simulated lab environments that mirror large, multidimensional scales.
- Design solution architectures and validation approaches for next-generation networking deployments.
- Mentor team members on analysis, debugging techniques, and robust test framework design.
- Drive the evolution of automation frameworks and scale-out testing pipelines using Python and shell programming.
- Bridge field deployments, Development, and product management while guiding technical resolution and production readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10 to 15+ years of experience in system test engineering, customer solution engineering, or advanced technical support within the networking industry.
- Deep knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, multicast forwarding, MPLS VPNs, EVPN, and high-availability features.
- Strong architectural understanding of Layer 2, Layer 3, MPLS, and multi-service routing and switching protocols.
- Expert hands-on experience with high-scale traffic generator equipment such as Spirent or IXIA.
- Advanced proficiency in Linux/UNIX environments for system and network troubleshooting.
- Strong Python skills and a history of building or scaling robust test systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, customer-facing, and collaborative technical leadership skills.
