Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic evolution of the CONNECT DevOps platform in partnership with engineering, product, architecture, and business stakeholders.
- Define the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for scalable, reliable, secure, and operationally excellent cloud-native DevOps platforms.
- Champion Site Reliability Engineering and Platform Engineering practices to improve availability, performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.
- Provide architectural governance for software delivery, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, deployment models, observability, and cloud operations.
- Design and implement enterprise-scale CI/CD ecosystems, Infrastructure-as-Code governance, configuration management, cloud optimization, and deployment automation.
- Drive monitoring, distributed tracing, telemetry, logging, AIOps, automated remediation, self-healing, and intelligent operational tooling strategies.
- Define DevOps maturity metrics, KPIs, and engineering excellence initiatives while serving as a technical authority for platform modernization and delivery transformation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering, including enterprise-scale initiatives.
- Proven experience driving DevOps strategy, cloud adoption, platform modernization, and engineering excellence across multiple teams.
- Expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, cloud-native architectures, containers, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and observability platforms.
- Strong software development and automation skills using languages such as Python, PowerShell, C#, Go, or similar technologies.
- Ability to architect scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient solutions across Azure, AWS, and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, communication, cross-functional leadership, and strategic decision-making skills.
- Preferred experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Git, Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, PowerShell, Python, Bash, monitoring, logging, automated remediation, identity management, compliance, and DevSecOps.
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator are highly desirable; Azure Service Fabric experience is an advantage.
