Responsibilities

  • Propose and demonstrate Microsoft Security solutions for education organizations.
  • Design Zero Trust-based security architectures addressing identity, devices, data, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Define security and compliance requirements for responsible AI adoption and Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness.
  • Engage technical decision-makers, technology leaders, security stakeholders, and education stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to support adoption of Microsoft Security solutions across the education sector.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of technology-related sales or account management experience, or the stated bachelor's degree and experience pathway, including equivalent experience.
  • Experience in security, identity, device management, cloud technologies, technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or related customer-facing technology roles.
  • Ability to translate customer risks, security requirements, and operational challenges into practical security and compliance solution architectures.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with business, technology, and security leaders.
  • Knowledge of or interest in Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel, or comparable security and compliance solutions.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust, information protection, endpoint management, cloud security, compliance, and risk management.
  • Fluency in Japanese and willingness or ability to collaborate effectively in English.
  • Preferred qualifications include relevant technology sales or account management experience and, depending on the pathway, a bachelor's or master's degree.
