Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
- Solve challenging technical problems affecting capital markets participants.
- Contribute to architecture, integration, upgrades, and all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Provide Level 3 support by analyzing complex problems and improving support functionality and client service.
- Research exchange rules and formats for public market data and order-entry systems.
- Work with advanced CPUs, NVMe, Solarflare, and ExaNIC hardware.
- Research and implement advanced C++ features and frameworks.
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and client support, including occasional technical customer discussions.
Requirements
- Excellent C++ skills, including hands-on experience with C++20 or later.
- Extensive experience using C++ in a Linux environment.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Experience with Solarflare, low-latency NICs, or FPGA is desirable.
- Experience with market data capture, perf, or kernel bypass technologies is desirable.
- Knowledge of network protocols and tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark is desirable.
- Experience with sanitizers such as ASan, MSan, UBSan, or TSan is desirable.
