Responsibilities
- Ship high-quality contributions to backend, web, and mobile products that improve sign-ups, engagement, and retention.
- Build tools that make operations and handyperson teams faster, smarter, and more effective across thousands of homes.
- Collaborate with operators and independently gather feedback on product initiatives and triage emerging issues.
- Influence the long-term vision and architecture of critical products.
- Help shape Honey Homes’ engineering culture as an early member of the team.
Requirements
- Experienced full-stack developer who has built and shipped meaningful products across the stack.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Docker, TypeScript, Google Cloud, or React is helpful.
- Demonstrated ownership of critical features and success in high-responsibility, autonomous environments.
- Ability to work effectively through ambiguity and complexity while balancing speed with long-term technical excellence.
- Growth mindset and motivation to learn and improve.
- Experience as a founder or early employee at a rapidly growing startup is a bonus.
- Passion for home maintenance and improvement is a bonus.
