Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical interface between customer engineering teams and HARMAN development teams.
  • Support vehicle integration, validation, launch readiness, production, ramp-up, and post-SOP activities.
  • Collect vehicle logs, reproduce field issues, coordinate root-cause analysis, and investigate production issues.
  • Flash software builds and support customer evaluations, trials, vehicle testing, and software releases.
  • Track customer-reported defects, maintain defect tracking systems, escalate critical blockers, and drive issue resolution.
  • Coordinate deliverables across Program Management, Manufacturing, Validation, System Engineering, Software, and Quality teams.
  • Participate in customer meetings, provide technical updates, and communicate project status.
  • Facilitate communication between customer stakeholders and HARMAN teams to support successful program execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in automotive electronics, preferably in TCU, telematics, connectivity, or related domains.
  • Strong understanding of CAN protocols, UDS diagnostics, flashing tools, and vehicle log analysis.
  • Experience with vehicle integration, validation processes, and automotive development life cycles.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, ALM, or similar defect management tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication, coordination, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently at a customer site while coordinating with global engineering teams.
  • Understanding of automotive product launches, production support, and quality processes.
  • Experience with Linux, Android-based automotive platforms, CANoe, CANalyzer, modem or network debugging, OEM development and validation, and global automotive teams is preferred.
  • Willingness to work at customer or plant locations, support critical testing and launch activities, travel occasionally, and work flexible schedules as required.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills and eligibility to work in the applicable assignment location are required.
