Base Salary
$155k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Diagnose network bottlenecks and build cloud model-training and data-pipeline infrastructure.
- Build backend systems that manage and support OSARO’s fleet of autonomous robots.
- Build and manage compute clusters for machine-learning model training.
- Develop and maintain backend services for internal and customer-facing applications.
- Collaborate across teams to diagnose and resolve software and infrastructure issues.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience, with 3–10 years of experience.
- Knowledge of distributed and microservice systems and experience using REST APIs.
- Programming experience in Python, Go, or Rust.
- Strong familiarity with Linux and shell scripting or tooling.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes cluster deployment, and services deployed on GCP or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of databases and experience building and managing large-scale data-processing pipelines.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including debugging network issues and deploying VPNs, proxies, and tunnels.
- Preferred qualifications include industrial robotics experience, distributed-systems delivery, Terraform, large data sources and pipelines, and machine-learning frameworks or orchestration tools.
