Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate new capabilities into the analytics platform.
- Develop applications that provide insights into trading data such as order entry and market data.
- Build secure, maintainable, high-performance systems using automated testing and deployment practices.
- Develop analytics solutions combining financial services and network data.
- Advise on and troubleshoot production deployments as a domain expert.
- Collaborate with the Machine Learning team to integrate new algorithms into the platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience with Java and Python.
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing and maintainable, modular code.
- Understanding of high-availability and high-performance system development.
- Desirable experience with database design, SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Druid, Presto, RESTful web services, in-memory solutions, distributed systems, and large datasets.
- Understanding of real-time/streaming and batch processing concepts and financial services such as electronic trading and market data.
- Ability to drive software development life cycles according to project needs.
