Base Salary

$180k - $300k/yr

Responsibilities

Partner with engineering and research teams to identify high-value opportunities and deliver practical solutions.
Use AI coding agents to take ideas from specification through production deployment.
Build tooling, integrations, automation, deployment pipelines, and AI-assisted execution workflows.
Integrate AI agents into development workflows, including CI/CD and code review.
Establish guardrails and human oversight for AI-assisted development.
Own delivery from problem definition through production and balance speed, quality, and reliability.
Share reusable AI-assisted engineering approaches and best practices across teams.
Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and drive measurable business impact.

Significant software engineering experience in a quantitative hedge fund, systematic trading firm, or similarly demanding engineering environment.
Strong programming skills in one or more modern programming languages and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Hands-on experience using AI coding agents or LLMs to deliver production software.
Ability to solve ambiguous problems and deliver practical solutions independently.
Experience working across unfamiliar codebases, teams, and technical domains.
Experience with CI/CD, code review workflows, and human-in-the-loop development practices.
Strong engineering judgment, communication, collaboration, ownership, and delivery focus.
Preferred experience with market data, real-time systems, trading infrastructure, deployment pipelines, AI-assisted execution workflows, or self-hosted LLM infrastructure.
Preferred familiarity with Kafka or similar streaming technologies and authentication, permissions, and access control systems such as OIDC.
Open-source contributions are a plus.
