Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Java backend services integrated with AI agent capabilities.
- Develop, optimize, and model SQL-based data stores, including query tuning, indexing, and database performance improvements.
- Architect AI agent workflows that automate business processes and improve user interactions.
- Own features end to end from design and coding through unit testing, integration testing, deployment, monitoring, and documentation.
- Collaborate with product, data, engineering, and operations stakeholders to translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Apply secure coding, authentication, authorization, data protection, and responsible AI practices.
- Conduct code reviews, document technical designs and APIs, and support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience designing, integrating, and managing the lifecycle of AI agent-based applications.
- Strong Java backend development skills, including multithreading, collections, and design patterns.
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including query optimization, indexing strategies, relational database work, and data modeling.
- Understanding of clean code, modularity, testability, continuous integration, and reliable software engineering practices.
- Ability to analyze complex problems across AI integrations, Java services, and database layers and develop maintainable solutions.
- Familiarity with secure development concepts and responsible intelligent automation.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer or equivalent certification is preferred, along with a recognized SQL or database certification.
