Responsibilities
- Modernize the strategic Market Risk platform while handling business-as-usual requests and production support.
- Design and architect solutions meeting performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Maintain and enhance software applications to improve performance and functionality.
- Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design discussions, knowledge sharing, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on project roadmaps and technical strategy.
- Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and relational database management systems.
- Strong object-oriented design and development, data structures and algorithms, design patterns, and relational database logical modeling skills.
- Ability to optimize queries against large relational databases.
- Experience incorporating JUnit unit tests when designing systems.
- Ability to write Shell and Python scripts.
- Strong analytical, collaboration, communication, and independent working skills.
- Exposure to AI agents and automation tools across software development, validation, and production deployment.
