Base Salary

$180k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers to understand objectives and develop innovative solutions and architectures for complex use cases.
  • Build customer relationships, educate stakeholders on Vultr’s capabilities, and guide customers from solution design into production.
  • Lead architectural discussions, design exercises, and resolution of complex customer challenges.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to communicate customer needs and guide product and feature development.
  • Partner with Marketing to create reference architectures, white papers, workshops, and demonstrations.
  • Travel 25%.

Requirements

  • Expertise in the GPU ecosystem, including GPU hardware, bare-metal and virtualized cloud delivery, AI/ML frameworks, and AI/ML operations orchestration.
  • Knowledge of AI models, algorithms, libraries, compilers, and runtimes across diverse silicon ecosystems.
  • Experience with GPU benchmarking, workload testing, Kubernetes, Slurm, and GPU-based AI, ML, and analytics deployments.
  • System and cluster-level understanding of x86 server architecture and Linux.
  • Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Networking experience with technologies such as InfiniBand, RoCE, and UEC Ethernet.
  • Experience optimizing NCCL and RCCL performance and working with high-performance storage offerings.
  • At least 5 years of applications and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting experience.
  • At least 4 years of solutions engineering, sales engineering, professional services, or consulting experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience deploying GPU-based AI, ML, and analytics solutions, including training, inference, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, or agentic harnesses.
  • Experience with structured sales engagement models such as MEDDPIC, Sandler, or BANT.
  • Strong customer engagement, communication, stakeholder facilitation, collaboration, ownership, and independent problem-solving skills.
