Base Salary
$114k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design scalable platform and infrastructure solutions and lead complex system implementations.
- Resolve highly complex production issues and troubleshoot end-to-end solutions across multiple systems.
- Analyze system failures and recommend solutions to business leaders.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions and CI/CD pipelines for platform deployment and operations.
- Establish engineering best practices, experiment with new technologies, and improve service automation.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical coaching on enterprise platform design, implementation, operation, and maintenance.
- Identify and control technology risks in accordance with risk and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant education and/or experience.
- Six years of infrastructure experience, including two years in systems operations supporting complex environment deployment and infrastructure management or applicable IT experience.
- Four years of experience creating, modifying, and maintaining infrastructure and system components.
- Advanced business acumen in business operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends.
- Proficiency designing scalable IT infrastructures, implementing system changes, and automating service delivery and maintenance.
- Experience with cloud technologies and tools.
- Preferred experience administering and engineering Snowflake at enterprise scale and supporting large-scale SaaS or cloud-native platforms.
- Preferred knowledge of Snowflake architecture, performance optimization, security, governance, and networking.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, Git-based deployment, platform automation, self-service capabilities, data and AI platforms, cloud migration, cloud networking, AWS PrivateLink, identity and access management, and SaaS security controls.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, collaboration, communication, and ability to influence architecture and engineering decisions.
