Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams and prospects on the evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions.
- Understand customer goals and determine how Algolia can address their needs.
- Lead technical discovery, product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and RFP responses.
- Use Algolia ecosystem tools, frameworks, and partners to validate technical and functional fit.
- Relay customer interests, needs, and product feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
- Maintain awareness of search and discovery trends and contribute to technical thought leadership.
- Coordinate with Solution Architects and Customer Success to support seamless post-sales onboarding.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, consultant, or product manager.
- Bilingual fluency in Portuguese; Spanish is a nice-to-have.
- Previous software development experience with one or more listed front-end or back-end technologies.
- Experience with data formats and data transformation.
- Strong oral and written communication, organization, context switching, and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a high-growth company at the stated $150M-$300M+ ARR stage or beyond.
- Search industry or e-commerce background is preferred.
- Knowledge of Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Commercetools, or similar frameworks is preferred.
- Knowledge of analytics and SEO is preferred.
