Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality, production-ready backend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions addressing business and technical requirements.
- Improve application scalability, reliability, performance, security, and code quality.
- Apply test-driven development practices and troubleshoot complex technical challenges across the application stack.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and improve product capabilities and developer productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience building scalable, cloud-native services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with application design, development, testing, debugging, and security vulnerability remediation.
- Understanding of Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, and modern data platforms.
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud services.
- Familiarity with Harness, Git, and Gerrit.
- Working knowledge of Spark, Python, BigQuery, SQL, and NoSQL databases is desirable.
- Experience incorporating AI/ML or Generative AI capabilities into applications is a strong plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and ownership skills.
