Responsibilities
- Deliver platform presentations and demonstrations focused on Application Security Testing and Runtime Protection.
- Evangelize Harness’s AI-Native DevSecOps platform, including its application, API, and AI security capabilities.
- Connect business security risks and compliance problems to technical solutions across the DevSecOps pipeline.
- Drive technical engagements such as workshops and proofs of value covering security from code through operation, including API and AI workflows.
- Translate customer security requirements and feature requests for Engineering.
- Travel occasionally, including on short notice, for customer engagements, internal meetings, and conferences.
Requirements
- Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS or software sales in DevSecOps or cybersecurity, or strong practitioner experience with software evaluation and buying processes.
- Hands-on experience with application security practices and tools such as API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, and SCA.
- Understanding of cloud-native application security and risks associated with GenAI integration.
- Awareness of emerging developments in AI security, software supply chain security, and threat landscapes.
- Ability to communicate complex security requirements and feature requests to Engineering.
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements, internal meetings, or trade shows and conferences.
- Valid authorization to work in the United States.
