Base Salary
$243k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and test software systems for the documents platform.
- Design and implement document authentication, validation, lifecycle, and time-based workflow features.
- Review code, improve development processes, and perform unit testing across data access, business logic, and API layers.
- Analyze technical risks and trade-offs, including data consistency and synchronous versus asynchronous processing.
- Diagnose and resolve workflow, document state transition, and data migration issues.
- Own feature areas such as document action scheduling, validity management, metadata handling, and status synchronization.
- Contribute to platform initiatives from early scoping and API design through implementation, testing, and production rollout.
- Communicate development status and demonstrate emerging technical leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
- Experience working with partitioned databases.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and software design and development skills.
- Experience handling Personally Identifiable Information and building systems that comply with privacy and personal data handling standards.
- Experience building products with microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Experience building large-scale, distributed backend systems with high iteration velocity.
- Experience with programming languages such as Golang, Java, and Python.
- Experience working in an agile engineering environment.
