Responsibilities
- Develop reference architectures, patterns, and AI blueprints with advisory consulting partners using MongoDB.
- Explain the business and technical value of MongoDB solutions to technical and business leadership.
- Support account teams with technical discovery, demos, proofs of value, presentations, sizing, and technical decision documentation across multiple opportunities.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with technical partners, influence decisions, address objections, and create demand for MongoDB solutions.
- Drive partner Center of Excellence strategies, joint proposals, regional solution architecture strategy, and implementation across partner ecosystems.
- Mentor local partner organizations on general IT and application operations and map industry trends and competitive threats to partner account bases.
- Gather field feedback for the Product Management team and participate in trade shows and account-based marketing events.
- Mentor other pre-sales team members and share best practices.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of related industry experience, ideally including 2 years in a partner-facing role.
- At least 2 years of professional experience with modern scripting or programming languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL, C, C++, Java, or C#.
- Experience implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Experience reviewing complex application architectures with customers and recommending technology improvements.
- Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, customer-facing, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional sales teams through the end-to-end deal cycle.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with major cloud providers, database programming and data models, data engineering or AI/ML projects, and technical pre-sales is preferred.
- Understanding of MEDDPICC or Command of the Message is preferred.
- MongoDB or cloud provider certification is preferred.
