Responsibilities
- Identify business stakeholders and establish communication with them.
- Identify business goals, objectives, functionality, quality characteristics, and constraints.
- Develop business, information, and technology architecture mappings and an architecture vision.
- Perform trade-off analysis, proof-of-concept implementation, and benchmarking.
- Set up and manage architecture design and documentation processes.
- Document and communicate architecture decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Review downstream design decisions and validate them against the solution architecture vision.
- Guide software development, testing, deployment, project management, and medium-to-large solution delivery projects.
Requirements
- Fluent English.
- More than 7 years of commercial software development experience.
- More than 3 years of commercial solution architecture design experience.
- Experience with data management, data integration, and data transformation approaches.
- Understanding of containerization, orchestration, and SDLC processes.
- Strong knowledge of computer science, computing theory, architectural and design patterns, paradigms and principles, database theory, and code testing practices.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Databricks, Azure Service Bus, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, and .NET.
- Excellent client-facing, business consulting, communication, stakeholder management, and business analysis skills.
- Ability to explain and justify the advantages and disadvantages of design decisions and influence senior client decision makers.
- Preferred certifications in architecture frameworks, cloud providers, or delivery processes.
- Preferred experience with release management tools, configuration management tools, infrastructure-as-code tools, pre-sales, proposal or bid preparation, and Databricks.
