Responsibilities
- Serve as the customer-facing technical subject matter expert for Turnitin’s Integrity and Assessment products.
- Lead or support customer meetings, product overviews, workflow discussions, technical demonstrations, and business cases.
- Resolve technical product inquiries and advise on technical, integration, and product-related RFP/RFI questions.
- Manage client trials, pilots, and proofs of concept with clear evaluation criteria and successful outcomes.
- Conduct technical discovery, gather requirements and constraints, and document future-state customer workflows.
- Partner with sales teams on deal strategy, customer messaging, business cases, and strategic selling support.
- Synthesize customer feedback, competitive insights, and feature requests for Product, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to product launches, mentorship, best-practice sharing, and scaling the global Solutions Engineering organization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, technical pre-sales, or technical consulting in EdTech or enterprise SaaS.
- Strong consultative selling and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to executive, academic, and technical audiences.
- Proven experience managing technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and RFP responses in complex sales cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex customer workflows and integrations, gather requirements, and support change management.
- Experience with LMS platforms, LTI standards, and REST APIs is preferred.
- Ability to regularly flex working hours across global time zones.
