Base Salary
$88k - $146k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a customer-facing technical subject matter expert for Turnitin’s Integrity and Assessment products.
- Lead or support customer meetings, product overviews, tailored demonstrations, workflow discussions, and business cases.
- Resolve technical product inquiries and advise on technical, integration, and product-related questions for RFPs and RFIs.
- Manage customer trials, pilots, and proofs of concept with clear evaluation criteria and successful outcomes.
- Conduct technical discovery with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, constraints, and future-state workflows.
- Partner with sales teams on deal strategy, customer messaging, consultative selling, and deal closure.
- Provide customer, market, competitive, and feature-request feedback to Product, Marketing, and senior leadership.
- Contribute to product launches, mentorship, best-practice sharing, and the growth of the global Solutions Engineering organization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, technical pre-sales, or technical consulting in EdTech or Enterprise SaaS.
- Strong consultative selling and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to executive, academic, and technical audiences.
- Proven experience managing technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and RFP responses in complex sales cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex customer workflows and integrations, gather requirements, and support change management.
- Experience with LMS platforms, LTI standards, and REST APIs is preferred.
- Ability to regularly flex working hours across global time zones.
- Intellectual curiosity and a flexible, humble, customer-focused approach are expected.
