Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop complex solutions in an Agile environment as part of a global engineering team.
- Build APIs and microservices and lead technical design discussions for complex solutions.
- Partner with engineering, product, business, testing, release management, and SaaS provider teams to deliver program capabilities.
- Mentor less experienced team members and provide technical expertise for complex systems and escalated defects.
- Coordinate non-production and production deployments and maintain deployment cadence.
- Support operational readiness and liaise between software engineering and production support teams.
- Oversee technical aspects of the SDLC governance process.
- Analyze application logs using Splunk, CloudWatch, ArgoCD, and AppDynamics to identify root causes.
- Create or coordinate monitoring and alerting for the program.
- Coordinate enterprise changes across software engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with service-oriented and cloud-native software architecture and modern API or microservice development.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Aurora PostgreSQL, Redis, Hibernate, and Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience with build tools, testing, and CI/CD for API and microservice development.
- Knowledge of secure programming practices, software delivery, and cloud security principles.
- Experience with AI-assisted product development using GitHub Copilot or Claude.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, EKS, SNS, SQS, and SDKs.
- Experience with Bitbucket and Git source-control and development workflows.
- Experience with AppDynamics, ArgoCD, CloudWatch, Splunk, and Zenoss for logging and monitoring.
- Experience with Test Driven Development and achieving 90–100% code coverage.
- Familiarity with API architectures and microservice strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects spanning multiple teams and deliver large-scale business-critical systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, collaboration, documentation, and code-review skills.
- Python, ReactJS, Apache Camel, and FINEOS Group Insurance product knowledge are preferred.
