Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and custom Groovy libraries.
- Develop Python and Bash automation tools for network engineering operations.
- Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes using Helm.
- Implement and support GitOps workflows for engineering self-service.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, application deployments, and automation issues.
- Perform code reviews and maintain automation scripts and tooling.
- Support Ansible-based automation and integrations with DevOps tools.
- Monitor application and platform performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and Telegraf.
- Document processes, automation standards, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with network engineers and DevOps teams to improve automation maturity.
- Participate in on-call support and resolve critical production issues.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of the DevOps toolchain.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or automation.
- Expert experience with Jenkins and Groovy scripting for CI/CD pipeline development.
- Strong Python development and production-grade automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Pipeline Management and CI/CD automation.
- Strong Linux and Bash/Shell scripting skills.
- Experience with Git, GitOps workflows, and source code management.
- Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
- Experience with Ansible and automation tooling.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and pipeline failure resolution skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with a self-driven approach.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
