Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with architects, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Guide and mentor junior developers through technical challenges, code reviews, and best-practice recommendations.
- Contribute to application architecture, design discussions, and technology decisions.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, backend services, and database structures.
- Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, documentation, and development standards.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and improve platform stability and performance.
- Optimize application and database performance through efficient coding and query optimization.
- Support cloud-based deployments and collaborate with DevOps teams on release activities.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in web application development using PHP and related technologies.
- Strong experience with the Laravel framework and enterprise application development.
- Experience guiding developers, conducting code reviews, and promoting engineering best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
- Expert-level PHP, Laravel, SQL, MySQL, and relational database design and optimization skills.
- Strong JavaScript and jQuery proficiency.
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP.
- Experience with Git, deployment processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong application architecture, design-pattern, data-structures-and-algorithms, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
