Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, maintain, and improve high-scale software applications across the full engineering stack.
- Design and develop cloud-native Java and Spring Boot microservices using GCP SDKs and GKE/Kubernetes.
- Integrate systems with internal platforms including Data Fabric and CSA Toolset.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technology roadmaps, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team activities.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting network and service operations.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Deploy and release software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and apply infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Research and develop software applications that extend and improve Equifax solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- At least 5 years of experience with cloud technology using GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions and Java/Spring Boot microservices with GCP SDKs and GKE/Kubernetes.
- At least 5 years of experience deploying and releasing software with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code concepts, Helm Charts, and Terraform.
- Preferred experience with Dataflow, Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, Composer/Airflow, Angular, Bootstrap, J2EE, SOA, source control, Maven, Gradle, relational databases, Atlassian tooling, modern JDKs, and automated testing tools.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to priority shifts, and collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.
