Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems for Tripadvisor.com and mobile apps.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in daily code releases and contribute to a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Work on both backend and occasional front-end projects as needed.
- Learn and adapt to Tripadvisor's technology stack on the job.
Requirements
- Experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development.
- Familiarity with Java, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Kubernetes, SQL, and NoSQL databases is preferred.
- Ability to work in a remote-first environment and attend in-person gatherings as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
