Responsibilities
- Build forecasting and rate-recommendation logic with guardrails for hospitality pricing workflows.
- Develop LLM-driven explanations, conversational performance querying, and automated market commentary.
- Create pipelines that ingest and clean competitor-rate and other third-party data.
- Build evaluation harnesses and monitoring to detect model degradation.
- Develop the APIs, data models, and user interfaces supporting AI features.
- Own systems technically from problem definition through production operation and communicate progress asynchronously.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience building and shipping production software with meaningful AI/ML work.
- Strong Python skills and comfort with TypeScript or JavaScript for application development.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as Anthropic or OpenAI, including prompt design, structured output, tool use, retrieval, and evaluation.
- Solid SQL and data-modeling skills.
- Experience with time-series forecasting, pricing or optimization models, or recommendation systems.
- Ability to work with messy, incomplete real-world data and inconsistent third-party feeds or APIs.
- Cloud deployment experience and familiarity with modern CI/CD.
- Hospitality, travel, pricing, marketplace, PMS, channel manager, booking-engine, or startup ownership experience is preferred.
