Responsibilities
- Build and improve features and services in .NET/C#.
- Modernize legacy components through pragmatic refactoring and incremental improvement.
- Evaluate user workflows and interfaces and reduce product friction.
- Write and maintain automated end-to-end and unit tests, including Playwright coverage.
- Contribute to the LLM workflow engine by improving prompts, workflows, and data-processing logic.
- Integrate APIs, messaging, and third-party services.
- Take initiative, drive problems to completion, and communicate context clearly with the team.
Requirements
- Solid real-world experience shipping applications in .NET/C# and improving large existing codebases.
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based systems, prompt engineering, model-output evaluation, and production LLM workflows.
- Experience with server-rendered technologies including Razor, jQuery, and Kendo.
- Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
- Understanding of API design, backend services, and relational databases.
- Comfort with end-to-end testing and willingness to add unit tests where coverage is limited.
- Practical software-design judgment and a pragmatic approach to modernization.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Daily hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools to produce, review, and ship production code.
- Comfort working with limited direction and a focus on improving existing systems.
- Nice to have: experience with cloud or SaaS migration, containerization, multi-tenancy, CI/CD pipelines, Azure, enterprise or government software, compliance, auditability, accessibility, front-end modernization, or Playwright.
