Base Salary

$143k - $331k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define requirements for agentic AI-driven bidding capabilities with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams.
  • Architect and implement the next-generation agentic bidding platform for real-time marketplace optimization.
  • Build large-scale data validation and quality frameworks for auction-critical signals.
  • Drive operational excellence, incident management, on-call readiness, and high-availability practices as a Designated Responsible Individual.
  • Develop experimentation and simulation frameworks for validating agent behavior and optimizing policies before live deployment.
  • Improve availability, efficiency, performance, and scalability through new engineering patterns and technologies.
  • Set technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate across engineering, product, design, and applied science teams.
  • Explore multi-agent systems and adaptive optimization techniques for autonomous bidding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: master’s degree and 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale streaming platforms such as Apache Spark or Flink.
  • 4+ years of experience as a technical lead mentoring and guiding engineers.
  • 7+ years of experience developing and deploying large-scale distributed systems in production.
  • 7+ years of hands-on MLOps experience, including pipeline automation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience building large-scale distributed bidding or auction platforms.
  • Experience building real-world applications using AI techniques.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
