Base Salary
$130k - $500k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Studio platform across React interfaces, backend APIs, data ingestion, quality-review workflows, and AI lab delivery pipelines.
- Lead frontend engineering practices, including architecture, component design, performance, and reusable patterns.
- Build foundational platform capabilities for new data types, task formats, and customer configurations.
- Ship product features that improve throughput and quality across data-generation and delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with Applied AI researchers, product, design, and operations to turn ambiguous requirements into scoped technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software as a full-stack engineer.
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, frontend architecture, state management, and design patterns.
- Backend experience with Python and/or Node.js, including relational databases, REST APIs, and asynchronous task infrastructure.
- Experience with complex, high-throughput systems, large data volumes, pipelines, or multi-tenant architectures.
- Strong design sense, usability focus, ownership, project execution, and communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with data labeling, annotation, human-in-the-loop AI workflows, design systems, developer-facing APIs, internal platform engineering, AI tools, LLM-powered products, real-time data visualization, or fast-scaling technology companies.
