Responsibilities
- Translate product and system requirements into testable software requirements and maintain traceability through verification.
- Define and evolve the .NET application platform architecture in partnership with another architect.
- Create and maintain software requirements, architecture, design, and interface documentation.
- Design, develop, test, and deliver production software.
- Lead technical feasibility analyses and support roadmap and architecture decisions.
- Establish architectural standards, patterns, and engineering practices and participate in technical and design reviews.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical strategy, and present architecture and project information to leadership.
- Plan and coordinate requirements, architecture, and design activities within quality, schedule, and budget constraints.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience developing and delivering production software on the .NET platform.
- Expert proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server.
- Experience designing scalable APIs and services using REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design, design patterns, data modeling, and SDLC practices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, automated testing, GitHub, containerization, secure software development, Kubernetes, asynchronous messaging, and cloud-native application development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Healthcare interoperability experience with HL7 FHIR is a plus.
