Responsibilities
- Drive and lead end-to-end engineering solutions that accomplish business goals.
- Design, review, and evolve architectures for features and services.
- Design and implement APIs, services, and modules while enforcing coding standards and development best practices.
- Build reliability and resiliency through testing and reviews across the delivery lifecycle.
- Drive test automation for new and existing functionality to improve quality, reliability, and release confidence.
- Provide Level 3 support by troubleshooting complex production issues and ensuring application stability, availability, and performance.
- Contribute to technology strategy and modernization of the technology stack.
- Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to solve problems and deliver features.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 5+ years in a technical leadership position.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, including collections, concurrency, multithreading, and networking.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and distributed systems.
- Working knowledge of the .NET ecosystem and Windows platform.
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database expertise; Oracle experience is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with TDD, BDD, and designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, OpenAPI standards, RESTful services, Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience architecting, designing, and delivering complex distributed mission-critical systems with scalability, resilience, performance, and operational excellence.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
