Base Salary

$270k - $410k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve engineering support requests involving security infrastructure and tooling.
  • Advocate for internal developer customers and communicate customer needs, issue status, and product feedback across Infrastructure Engineering, Product Management, and Developer Education.
  • Develop and maintain support automation tooling, documentation, runbooks, and self-service knowledge-base content.
  • Improve support processes, product usability, operational efficiency, and the overall engineering support experience.
  • Use generative AI and agentic coding tools to accelerate triage, troubleshooting, documentation, analysis, and automation while verifying outputs and protecting privacy and confidentiality.
  • Interpret security and authentication logs and conduct investigations related to identity and access management.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer support and advocate for customer needs across complex organizations.
  • Extensive experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise identity and authentication systems, including Okta, SCIM, OIDC/OAuth2, SAML 2.0, and FIDO2/WebAuthn.
  • Knowledge of passwordless authentication, phishing-resistant MFA, device posture validation, authentication, authorization, access management, and security monitoring.
  • Experience supporting distributed cloud applications, securing cloud infrastructure, and working with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, IAM, and secrets-management platforms.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or Go.
  • Hands-on experience with log analysis, incident response, and investigations involving authentication and access management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, technical documentation experience, and ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience using generative AI techniques such as prompt design, iterative refinement, and critical review of AI-assisted output in support engineering workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and MCP.
  • Ability to manage ambiguous end-to-end investigations, solve complex problems, adapt quickly, and continuously improve operational efficiency.

  • Annual salary range of $270,000.00-$410,000.00, with compensation allocation between salary and stock options and no bonuses.
