Base Salary
$191k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own customer success through the design and delivery of a multi-year software roadmap.
- Leverage internal engineering teams to deliver capabilities beyond current platforms.
- Collaborate with external teams on interfacing requirements.
- Lead teams in architecting and implementing navigation and situational awareness systems.
- Drive development of sensor suites, perception algorithms, and test fixtures.
- Perform high-impact work in architecture and implementation across the perception and planning stack.
- Utilize advanced techniques in computer vision and machine learning.
- Conduct testing and validation of algorithms through simulation and real-world data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective system integration.
- Travel to co-locate with end-users and other teams up to 20% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in C++ and/or Python software development.
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicle hardware and sensors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer vision, sensor fusion, SLAM, motion planning, or machine learning.
- Experience in a senior perception or planning role for robotic systems.
- Capacity to act as the technical owner for a system.
- Ability to collaborate on validation and verification strategies.
- Capacity to learn and mentor junior team members.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
