$225k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance high-volume, low-latency automated FX pricing and trading systems using Java.
- Develop solutions across market connectivity, price processing and publication, order management, order negotiation, and middle- and back-office hand-off systems.
- Gather requirements and implement solutions in collaboration with traders and quantitative developers.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and provide third-line support for the FX trading business.
- Mentor developers and provide expert technical input on low-latency Java development.
- Support consolidation of multiple pricing and trading platforms.
- Create and maintain fully automated DevOps pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of related work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with multithreading, current Java frameworks, advanced Java features for reducing trading latency, application throughput improvement, server-side Java, and high-performance low-latency applications.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, implementing, and delivering complex globally distributed, highly available, real-time trading systems.
- At least 3 years of experience with automated QA testing and processes, FX or Rates front-office technology, and messaging systems including Solace, Tibco/RV, Aeron, or IBM MQSeries.
- At least 3 years of experience integrating messaging systems and working with Agile-style development methods.
