Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop software drivers for hardware peripherals on next-generation automotive platforms.
- Develop and enhance Board Support Packages, including board bring-up, bootloader initialization, and performance tuning.
- Create driver architectures and software for serial, storage, PCIe, USB, networking, power-management, thermal-management, and security hardware interfaces.
- Develop QNX or Linux device drivers and own complete subsystems through completion at the senior level.
- Maintain software quality and support development under safety standards such as ISO26262 and IEC61508 or applicable MIL standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Established software development experience and prior driver-development experience.
- In-depth knowledge of C and Assembly programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with embedded operating systems, preferably QNX, Linux, GreenHills, or VxWorks.
- Experience developing software for ARM, x86, PPC, or other major processor architectures.
- Experience with bootloaders, board bring-up, peripheral drivers, storage devices, communication buses, networking interfaces, power management, and security hardware.
- For senior roles, experience writing QNX or Linux device drivers, owning complete subsystems independently, mastering multiple bus architectures and communication protocols, and providing project or team leadership.
- Experience developing software to safety or MIL standards is a standout qualification.
Benefits
- Base compensation is listed at $108,750.00-$152,250.00 annually, with an organization-wide variable incentive program in addition to base salary.

- This is a regular, active opening intended to be filled immediately, with a scheduled work week of 40 hours.
