Responsibilities
- Design and implement application logic in Java.
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Develop well-designed, maintainable, testable, scalable, and secure code.
- Collaborate with teammates, stakeholders, and platform teams to meet project commitments and resolve dependencies.
- Lead customer-impacting incidents, post-mortems, and immediate preventive actions.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and manage work within business timelines.
- Mentor team members while remaining hands-on.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills and deep knowledge of Java.
- Excellent knowledge of Spring and other frameworks.
- Knowledge of unit testing and mocking frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or EasyMock.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with Oracle.
- Experience developing high-performance applications.
- Strong problem diagnosis, creative problem-solving, organizational, and data analysis skills.
- Desirable experience with Rest Assured, Selenium WebDriver, IBM ILOG/ODM, Pivotal GemFire Grid, Linux servers, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, and complex SQL operations.
- A BS in computer science or a related field is preferred.
