Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test APIs and services powering RoadieXD
- Develop internal and customer-facing React tools for cross-dock operations
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to solve logistics challenges and deliver high-impact features
- Influence architecture and technical design decisions affecting scalability, reliability, and performance
- Write maintainable code supported by automated testing and code reviews
- Improve existing systems, developer experience, performance, and long-term maintainability
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience building scalable distributed systems and production APIs
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language and experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining reliable, well-tested software
- Ability to make thoughtful technical decisions and balance short-term needs with long-term maintainability
- Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, ownership, and learning skills
