Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, secure Salesforce software solutions.
- Build Salesforce functionality using Apex, triggers, classes, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, asynchronous processing, and Lightning Web Components.
- Design Salesforce data models and enterprise-grade solutions, including REST, SOAP, Platform Events, and Named Credentials integrations.
- Lead technical design discussions and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, establish development standards, and promote software quality and secure coding practices.
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance across project teams.
- Estimate effort, identify technical risks, and drive end-to-end feature delivery and release execution.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA teams, product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Support governance, risk management, controls, continuous improvement, and technology strategy.
- Participate in code quality practices, unit testing, knowledge sharing, and technology communities.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing with Apex, including triggers, classes, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and asynchronous processing.
- Hands-on expertise with Lightning Web Components and modern Salesforce user-interface development.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and role hierarchies.
- Experience designing scalable Salesforce data models and enterprise-grade solutions.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with REST, SOAP, Platform Events, and Named Credentials.
- Proficiency with Git, branch management strategies, and source-driven development.
- Ability to lead technical design discussions and convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience conducting code reviews and enforcing development standards and best practices.
- Experience mentoring developers and providing technical guidance across project teams.
- Ability to estimate effort, identify technical risks, and drive delivery commitments.
- Experience collaborating with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Strong ownership of end-to-end feature delivery and release execution.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines using DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Preferred knowledge of Salesforce Enterprise Design Patterns, including fflib, and framework-based development.
- Preferred knowledge of event-driven architecture using Platform Events and Change Data Capture.
- Preferred experience establishing development standards, governance processes, and coding guidelines.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce Shield, encryption, audit, and compliance controls.
- Preferred experience leading offshore/onshore development teams and coordinating cross-functional deliveries.
- Preferred knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and participation in sprint planning and solutioning workshops.
