Base Salary
$165k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop cloud architecture and IoT fleet-management solutions for thousands of connected devices.
- Improve and advance device firmware and device software.
- Build and maintain cloud services that receive data from and manage the device fleet.
- Implement remote software updates and remote connectivity solutions.
- Own uptime and quality for the device fleet.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with customers, field support, manufacturing and assembly teams, internal stakeholders, and development teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve device hardware, firmware, fleet operations, and customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a code-contributing engineer.
- Experience building production systems in Python, Go, or a similar high-level language.
- Experience using AWS and Postgres or a similar relational database management system.
- Knowledge and proven skills with Linux-based systems.
- Basic knowledge of and interest in electronics and electrical systems, such as Raspberry Pi or Arduino-style technologies.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and force-multiplier skills.
- Passion for creating a cleaner and more resilient energy future.
- Authorization to work in the US or Canada without sponsorship.
