Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate services that transfer and replicate large volumes of data between source and target systems with minimal latency.
- Develop extensible, maintainable, reusable, and high-performing code using appropriate coding patterns and best practices.
- Debug proactively and reactively using debugging tools, logs, telemetry, and root-cause analysis.
- Review code for quality, reliability, accuracy, diagnosability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Create testing plans, define test success criteria, improve test coverage, and drive automated testing efforts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements and incorporate customer feedback, usage patterns, and value metrics into designs and fixes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline and 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Mandatory experience with data integration, data migrations, ELT, or ETL tooling.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
- Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
