Base Salary
$168k - $247k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead system-level debugging for issues crossing subsystem boundaries.
- Support early integration of new sensor and software component designs by identifying interface requirements, risks, dependencies, and checks.
- Design and maintain integration tests, test setups, and procedures for combined robotic subsystems.
- Build and maintain mission-readiness checks for manufacturing signoff, validation, field testing, and mission use.
- Create provisioning tools, checks, and debugging guidance for Manufacturing Integration, Validation, Field Service, and Fleet Operations.
- Support integration of new hardware and software functionality into the autonomy software stack.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of software experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or other complex mechatronics systems.
- Experience with Python and C++ for reliable and performant code.
- Experience working with large codebases and understanding source code.
- Solid understanding of operating system concepts, software performance, and networking.
- Experience using source control and build automation tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Buildkite.
- ROS, ROS2, or other robotics middleware experience is a plus.
- Experience collaborating across software, controls, and hardware disciplines is a bonus.
