Base Salary
$212k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, develop, and hire a team of 3 to 5 Solutions Engineers.
- Own the technical win for strategic consumer accounts through hands-on demos, prototypes, and architecture discussions.
- Create reusable reference architectures, demo environments, evaluation frameworks, and SOW patterns.
- Advise on GenAI consumer use cases including agentic customer experience, personalization, search relevance, trust and safety, and content moderation.
- Partner with Account Executives and GTM leadership on account strategy, technical qualification, and pilot scoping.
- Collaborate with forward-deployed Software and Machine Learning Engineers from solution design through early implementation.
- Translate customer patterns into prioritized input for Product and Engineering and influence the roadmap.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Forward-Deployed Engineering, or technical consulting.
- Hands-on development experience in Python or a similar programming language.
- Experience leading or mentoring technical individual contributors; formal people management is welcome but not required.
- Experience with high-scale consumer-facing systems such as recommendation and personalization, search, content moderation, or conversational products.
- Strong understanding of performance, latency, throughput, quality, and cost constraints at consumer scale.
- Strong presentation skills and technical credibility with executives, product stakeholders, and engineers.
- Preferred: hands-on GenAI, LLM, or applied machine learning experience, particularly evaluation and quality measurement at high volume.
- Preferred: experience in retail, e-commerce, media, gaming, marketplaces, or social platforms.
- Preferred: experience establishing a new vertical, practice, or team from an early stage.
