Base Salary

$100k - $232k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end solutions architecture for Epic Healthy Planet, care coordination workflows, and STARS/HEDIS/quality measure reporting.
  • Design scalable data models and workflows connecting Epic Clarity, Caboodle, Healthy Planet registries, care management, and risk stratification tools.
  • Lead the design and optimization of Epic workflows supporting CMS Star Ratings, HEDIS measures, care gap closure, and quality documentation.
  • Architect care management workflows for registries, care plans, risk stratification, transitions of care, and care team communication.
  • Drive integration between Healthy Planet and external care coordination platforms, HIEs, payer systems, clinical data, and claims data.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture, data, clinical, quality, compliance, and ACO leadership on governance, interoperability, analytics, and technical strategy.
  • Lead and mentor Epic analysts, architects, and engineers and present architecture decisions, risks, and roadmaps to senior leadership.
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions, manage vendors, and participate in Epic governance, upgrade planning, and architecture review boards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of healthcare IT experience, including 5+ years focused on Epic applications.
  • Deep hands-on or architectural experience with Epic Healthy Planet, Care Everywhere, and/or population health modules.
  • Strong understanding of CMS STARS methodology, HEDIS measures, quality reporting, risk adjustment, value-based care, ACO operations, and payer-provider data exchange.
  • Experience architecting solutions involving Clarity, Caboodle, and/or Epic reporting tools.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Epic initiatives and managing technical teams.
  • Epic certification in Healthy Planet, Ambulatory, or related modules is preferred.
  • Experience with FHIR/HL7 interoperability, payer data integration, integrated payer-provider or ACO environments, Medicare Advantage operations, or advanced credentials in health informatics, data architecture, or population health is preferred.
