Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise DevOps frameworks, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate builds, testing, deployments, release processes, environment provisioning, and operational workflows.
- Administer source code repositories, branching strategies, application versioning, artifact management, and release governance.
- Support development, testing, UAT, and production environments while maintaining platform stability, availability, performance, and scalability.
- Manage Windows Server environments and IIS-hosted applications and web services.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application performance issues and support capacity planning, disaster recovery, resilience, and business continuity.
- Embed security controls and DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability remediation, patch management, monitoring, and audit support.
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, architecture, and business stakeholders on platform modernization.
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert in DevOps tooling, automation, and operational support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks.
- Experience supporting complex, business-critical applications in production environments, preferably in financial services, banking, capital markets, or another regulated industry.
- Strong experience with source control systems, repository management, release management, deployment automation, and software delivery lifecycle management.
- Strong Windows Server administration and Microsoft technology stack expertise, including hands-on IIS administration and support.
- Strong troubleshooting, operational support, monitoring, logging, performance management, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Preferred experience with Python, PowerShell, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, application monitoring and observability platforms, DevSecOps, SonarQube, security scanning, code quality tooling, and .NET or Microsoft-based application stacks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, operational excellence, and ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on responsibilities.
